A Tenacious Hope

God can not be taken by surprise. God is the only one that can see the past, the present and the future all at once in supernatural succinctness. I keep seeing phrases in media posts such as “in these uncertain times” or “in this time of great uncertainty”. What is uncertain? Certainly not God’s plan. Certainly not God’s word. Hope does not rest in certainty but rather it is in the unknown of what’s to come. It is in these times that we cling to God’s promises “that he who began a good work in you shall be faithful to complete it.” (Philippians 1:6). We don’t have to know how things are going to turn out in order to be certain, or to be hopeful. Being hopeful takes strength, faith and tenacity. Retaining a hopeful spirit requires you to fight ferociously in your spirit to keep it alive. Hope is like a flame flickering in the forest on a dry summer’s night. If you fight to keep your hope alive it will ignite and spread like wildfire. Be relentless not only in your pursuit of hope but in your ability to give it to others. So give love, give hugs, help others and most importantly pass on a most tenacious hope.

May it spread like wildfire indeed🔥✝
    Romans 5:1-5,
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character; and character, hope.
“And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.”!!!
    Love and prayers,
    Mom💜🙏🏼
